[SOLVED] Providing a dropdown to filter records in a Grid

Hi Forum members,

Seek your help on a below problem.

I have a table with multiple fileds and a ‘Category’ field. what I want to achieve is to display a grid of all records which belongs to a particular category.

Would want to provide a drop down at the top of page to the users with all available categories. Whenever a category is selected / changed from the drop down, all associated records pertaining to the selected category should get displayed in a grid.

Would appreciate if any one can share what they have done in similar instances.

Hello,

You could use quick search to achieve a similar result or perhapas add a filter to your grid (on the grid configuration).
