Hello,

I haven’t quite understood you. The table list doesn’t include Views?

Hello,

To work with MS Access version inferior than 2007/2010 you should install 2007 Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components.

Please, check our WebHelp: http://downloads.scriptcase.com.br/downloads/v6/manual/en_us/webhelp/manual_mp/06-Tutoriais/01-access/00-msaccess.htm

Hi John,

Why the V6.020 display tables and querys? and v6.033 not ?

that is the question

I’am working with MsAccess since V5 and of course I have installed MsAccess database Engine since V5, always was fine, up to V033

The other bug : text fields with “.” points inside the text cause Data Error when these text field is used in an index field, since v033 too.

3 weeks ago I send a copy of my .mdb database to your mail, you receive it ? I want you test these bugs.

Hello Aquiles,

Yes, I got your email, but forgive me for not answering it, but as I said earlier in the email, unfortunately I’m not allowed to answer emails directly to customers, you must send an email to support@scriptcase.net or bugs@scritpcase.net depending on your problem, then we will review it and contact you.

Starting with version 6.00.0033 we implemented a new driver for Access databases with ODBC connection, this caused some changes, so starting from version 6.00.0033 you must have Office component for the tables are listed. (This is the solution currently.)

However, there are others of our customer like you who are struggling, so all these problems have already been forwarded to the development team and we are working for a better solution.

Once I have some response from the developers on this issue, I will contact you by email and I will post in this topic.

Hi John,

Ok, I send my database .mdb file as a working database to facilitate your test, nothing more …

you can test creating a new grid app and try to bind the new grid app to any MsAccess Query, querys aren’t displayed in the listbox …
before the v033 these listbox display tables, querys and system tables.

now, create a new single form binded to “productos” table…
execute this app nevigate to any row that contains “.” points into the prod_serie field AND SIMPLY CLICK ON “UPDATE” BUTTON AND Sc display the error
“Data Error” in these field.
If you repeat the same operation in any row that prod_serie field NOT contains “.” points, No error is displayed.
This is because prod_serie field is a index key field (no primary key).

Before V033 no errors are present.

I hope to help you in the Debug Task…

Hi again,

I test with V34… the problem is in the “Advanced” tag on Connection form, the “filters” don’t work… I check, uncheck querys, system tables, etc and ONLY can view tables …
