[SOLVED]security module problems

I have three groups of users: a general user allowed to send questions, not login required (only one form). The next are people who answer the questions in a forum way like. The latest is the administrator. I have three folders containing the apps for the several user groups. Since people are only allowed to update theire own posts I just generated a simple security approach by user. I selected the menu of the administrator and the security is added to the menu correctly. But the associated link is not correct as they are generated in the security folder, while the link thinks the security application is in the project working folder.
All applications have the use security checkbox set. But I can still run them without loggin in. Do I need to update all applications by hand for the sc_apl_status call? Then why is the checkbox checked and what is it’s purpose?

Hello,

Go to express edit --> security, select every application and set security to “Yes”. After that, re-generate all application.

Please let me know on any advancements.

I’m affraid you haven’t read the question right. This would make users who do not need to login will need to login.

Hello,

Currently the security module created by Scriptcase not let users access the system without having a username and password. This can be sent as a suggestion to be reviewed by our developers and possibly implemented in future releases. suggestions@scriptcase.net

While there is not this availability on our native security module, you can create a login and password for users “guest”, add only basic privileges, and so inform the login and password of the group “guests” on the home screen of your system. Or feel free to create your own security module using the Scriptcase.

No offence, but this is not an issue. I created several login for several roles. The one not needing a login does not have a loginscreen. But it’s off topic.

So I’ll put this topic as solved, and move it to Bugs/Issued Solved.

Anyway, feel free to contact us if you have problems.
