[SOLVED]Showstopper on multiple line text

Create a memo database field (longtext) in mysql
Assing a multiline field in sc
width 40, length in database 5012
Run the application
You cannot get more than 40 chars in the field
This is a real showstopper!!!

If you set width of 1000 then the field will become 1000 chars of width.

Please make sure that you haven’t set anything else on the fields configurations to only show 40 chars.

Just follow the described steps. there are only two fields for this.
