[SOLVED] The file structure of a project was rebuilt by Scriptcase after updating without asking

Again a bug after update!

Scriptcase generates additional folders without asking. Watch the correct folder structure (not marked). Additional folders added by Scriptcase with a completely different sorting (highlighted in yellow). There are no files in there! Folders cannot be deleted!!! For larger projects, the folder structure of a project multiplies significantly. Apart from the fact that clarity is lost and there is no freedom of choice for the developer.

BUG - sc ide folders structure is a mess after upgrade to 9.12.022 - Scriptcase 9 / General - Scriptcase Low-code

Thanks. Hope, they’ll fix it soon.

Same here – the update was a complete disaster.
It seems like they didn’t properly test it before release. I suspect they only verified fresh installations and didn’t test the update process itself.
I had to completely reinstall Scriptcase from scratch and restore my project from a backup.

“It seems like they didn’t properly test it before release.”

my guess is that they never spend anytime testing it.

lately they sent out some updates with bugs that could be easily detected BEFORE releasing new updates, if only they performed basic tests in some different common setups

but i doubt they have such setups

Yes, also think so. Now I can’t open anything.

Bigger problem now after next update.

Dear all,

Please contact the tool’s support team via chat if possible (preferably). The team will guide you on how to make the adjustment so you can access Scriptcase normally until the final version with the fixes is released.
