Changes Version 9.08.000 (69) to 9.08.000 (5).
Update Message appears every login (no files to update).

You are correct. I hardly ever logout so only see this once. I logged out and then logged in again and now I see the update message again. This does not mean that it is not working. Perhaps the title of the post is not quite correct as SC is working but the update message keeps showing after login.

same for me, new scriptcase with php 8.1 is not importing projects. still using 7.3 for now

You can import some projects.
some not.
Have a complete backup imported - no projects visible.
Then imported again - does not work - applications already exist.
Then the complete script case deleted again. Suddenly it works.
The error messages when compiling look different in Windows than in Linux.
Attention - do not make any php.ini settings in Linux - scriptcase then supplements the php.ini with extension = *.“dll” entries.
I don’t know if the update was actually carried out.
It may not be displayed.

Had same problem and this worked for me.
I created the backup from the Settings Tab
In the original Scriptcase folder there a one called backup. In this folder a copy is created of the backup.
Copied that folder to the new version folder/backup
The goto new version and restore.
After restore check Setting Users to ensure user has access to the projects.

scriptcase just tells me that it is a beta version
There was an issue with one of our update servers, but the issue has now been resolved.
You can run the scriptcase update and the version will be incremented to version 9.8.001.
NOTE: The error only occurred in the PHP 8.1 environment
