I just want to know if Zend Guard Loader is only required on the development server and not on the deployed / live server ?

I’m sorry, I found this in the FAQ
“Should I pay additional costs to deploy applications? Must I install Zend to run them?
No, the deployed applications are free and open-source. You can deploy them in several servers without additional costs. The Zend is not necessary to deploy applications.”
So, case closed 
IPad’s at least we didn’t have issues. On air laptops we didn’t have issues too, but we haven’t been testing Version 8 fully on this.
