Source Code Generation has been very fast in SC6, I have just installed SC7 today (05-Feb-2013) and this is really taking lot of time to generate the source code. I guess SC Team might look into the process optimization for sure.

There is a huge difference as stated in some other mail. It is due to some Zend stuff which is not used in SC7. Funny part is that it depends on the type of application. Some apps don’t take longer, but some apps can consume over 20 seconds. In our sample of 73 apps the difference is 1.5 minutes for SC6 and 6 minutes in SC7.
Yes, after generating some much larger apps the slow generation appeared.

That is actually happening due to server configurations. That is, if you run SC 7 on SC 6 web server, the generation speed should be the same.
