Hi,
I have a name in my Table utf8_general_ci varchar, in scriptcase grid it is a text column.
The name is Gürel and in de grid is shown as G�rel or G?00720065006c003c002fspan> When I go to the form the name is shown correct, in the database it is also correct. In my development it is ok and in my production this problem. Database and table exactly the same. Other grids using the same table no problem. A new grid with the same info, same problem ??? No difference when I refresh production and common files. When I show the encoding it allways shows ASCII in the grids that are ok, after changing u to ü the encoding is automatic changed to UTF-8. I tried to do the same thing in Onrecord but that does not work.
How can I correct this. Any hints are welcome,
