SQL Builder does not show table fields

Hello there,

I am new to scriptcase, and I have this scenario:

  1. I Installed scriptcase 8.1 in a fresh ubuntu server 14.04
  2. I create a grid application and make a MS SQL connection with odbc driver
  3. It conects to my other physical computer (windows based) without any error and let’s me select the database
  4. I create a new proyect with a grid report
  5. I use SQL Builder to select the specific tables

And then after that I go to select the table fields, but SQL Builder does not show them, instead I get a popup window with this error
“mssql_query(): Query failed | Script: /var/www/html/scriptcase/prod/third/adodb/drivers/adodb-mssql.inc.php linha: 845”

I changed the default value on the specified file named in the error to “true” and restart my scriptcase session, without success on fixing the error. :mad::mad::mad:

I will be greatly appreciate some help about this.

Can you please check a grid report with a very simple table?

Hello rr, yes I make a simple grid app but the SQL Builder just don’t show the fields for that single table.

I make my SQL query by hand without the SQL Builder and now I moved on to the next step.

Still this is not the way to go. Have you tried to do a re-install?
