SQLite access

How can I access example SQLite database outside of SC (i.e. using SQLite Manager) ?
I can’t seem to find a database file (or is it hidden or encrypted?)

Re: SQLite access

Hello,

They are in “…/scriptcase/devel/conf/scriptcase”. Go to Database --> Edit Connection --> Select any SQLite connection, and you should see the DB Path on the connection configuration.

Re: SQLite access

I bought a license for MySQL. Since the example files work base on local SQLite file.
Can I also access and create projects for SQLite ?

Re: SQLite access

Hello,

You can import any project sample, but you won’t be able to create any SQLite connection.

Re: SQLite access

Thanks.

My suggestion would be to allow users to add licenses for each major database separately. Another words you could offer standard price for SC (no database), then user would select a databases he/she wants to connect to and based on that selection your system will add ap appropriate charge (cost) to the base price.
For example:

SC - $250

MySQL - $100
SQLite - $50
Firebird - $80
MSSQL - $100
and so on

this will give users more flexibility as to what database options are needed
