Step 2/4 fails when creating project from the Template

I reinstalled my Scriptcase with latest update, 9.9.003 after experiencing the issue below, but still have it:

When I create a project from the template (used News) both when using SQLite or MySQL creation stays running in step 2/4 Preparing the database and the application to import.
When I then refresh the page (after waiting for at least 30 minutes) , I have my application but without any tables created.

Update:
After several attempt of using the News template I made another attempt using the samples and forms template and these seem to work well.
Started to create another application using another sc_news template and now this once succeeds as well.
