I do changes to the toolbar buttons for the grid and when I generate those changes are not reflected. This is a common problem and I remember this issue happening on different ocassions since SC5. I wonder if anybody has some solution to that. Of course when I report this to Netmake they say they cannot reproduce the problem.
Tried to clean browser cache and removed temp files but no improvement.
Any ideas OR workarounds ?

If you’re using Safari, you already know many things won’t work, so add one to the list.

NO, it did not help. I tried to run the same in Firefox, then Chrome (regenerated everything) and ADD NEW button on the grid is still missing.
I know this is a common p[roblem but reported back in SC5 and it pisses me of it is still not fixed.
The more important part for me now is how to get this fied. I’m stuck and I’m loosing time on unfixed crap!
Any other ideas how to get this back ?

I have done interesting experiment here:
I had a Grid/Form combination of Apps to simply edit an Invoice. I accidently removed the Form Buttons from the toolbar. Then later re-added it and since then the ADD NEW button is missing.
I went to the older version and tested the grid showing All invoices And showing ADD NEW button. I then Exported the “god” app. I switched back to the lates project version and imported “working App”. Then I relinked that “working grid” with the Form. After this linking the ADD NEW button again disappeared. Obviously it shows that there is some interaction problem between the Grid and Form so it it the Form that is causing the ADD NEW button disappearing.
You can try to solve this problem through links, applications, properties and enable the Display button (new row) on the grid toolbar by checking the yes option.
The “new” button will appear when you generate the grid and then going to the grid toolbar, you can define the button position.
It supposed to work that way, but despite the NEW button is enabled it still not showing up. This is on going problem for last 3-4 years.
