I found the following link for a twain driver that works on Desktop as well web applications. Honestly, I tried all the possibilities to make it work but unfortunately couldn’t succeed. Appreciate if any one here can give a help.

This driver is browser dependent and over 4 years old. No maintenance has been done. There has been loads of new browser versions since; so I don’t expect you to get it working in modern browsers. Problem with these kind of drivers is that they are ActiveX based which runs only on windows. I recommend to search in this forum about other posts. I know this issue has been discussed before.
