Update deletes libraries/files in prod/third directory

Hello,

Why does the update deletes files I copied to prod/third/ directory? Can you please add an update that do not delete the file if there’s no need to replace it?

I did a request to change this behaviour a (long) while ago. It was already documented. SC first deletes the full _lib then rebuilds. It is as it is currently I’m affraid.

If it was already requested then I guess we’ll just have to wait for the update.

If it was up to me yes, but I’m affraid we’re in the same boat. Only SC decides :wink:

I would like to add…instead of using third party folder, A folder where we can store our own third libs, and this folder is exported/backup, and deployed too

Yes, that would be a better option.

I agree. Along with this feature I would like to see an option to re-generate the _lib structure within the UI under Generate or Run.
