updated and once again errors galore....

Hey Guys

been a while since I last posted have been having a smooth experience for a few days with scriptcase, but once again I just updated and am plaged with errors…

when updateing/saving a field I get the following error:

Id do menu nao encontrado.
class:
file: C:\Program Files (x86)\NetMake\v7\wwwroot\scriptcase\devel\lib\php\functions.inc.php
function: StartIncItensCoolJsMenu
line: 2687

When saving an Ajax event I get the follwoing error:

Id do menu nao encontrado.

I would so like to update for once and not have to reinstall the entire scriptcase install and try to recover from a backup which then also fails, to contact support wait for my backup to be fixed…??? and then also to have the same problem the next update…

Yes very frustrating… Can we have a solution please, I would really like to get back to working in a smooth manor without stupid errors

just to note I cleared browser cache and also restarted the server… seemed to work for a moment…

Jamie, is the issue currently solved or still happening? I’m still on 7 and was planning to move over to 7.1 one of these days.

I would try it … I think SC 7.1 is running quite well (reported errors excepted).

been having these errors happen on each update since 7.0 something …

having to backup everything and perform a clean reinstall and then recover my backup which has also been failing, incurring days of support to fix the backup.

Actually since purchase I have not had much luck with this so its been a bit of a rough ride…
Oh just to mention last support ticket with same errors I was told that support had no clue why it was happening…

Hello Mr. Jamie,

Let me help you! Please send us more details about the field you are updating.
Are you using a lookup in your field? This problem started to occur after updating or had already occurred before?

If possible, send a sample application where this problem is occurring, for email bugs@scriptcase.net reporting link to this topic. I will carefully review and forward to our developers.

Thank you!

Hi John L. Santos

This seems to happen on each update since I have purchased the platform, regardless of which project I am viewing or working on.

what happens is that I can open a project start to work on it and then when i click save, I get errors as indicated above.
This tends to happens on both event types, once this has happened it continues to none stop regardless of what I am trying to do, but it seems that I need to save an event first for it to go crazy.
Otherwise I can navigate thru content and do certain things untill I need to work with an event then it goes haywire.

I have found that I need to run CCcleaner to clear all cache and restart the entire machine (so not just the server) and then I can work for an hour or so before I start getting the errors again.

So in short its not project related!

Thx

Jamie
