Hi
i have a image (database) field. Whe i upload something like 1234.jpg everything works fine. But if i have a space or even a - in my filename (123-4.jpg) then the upload fails.
I have SC 8.1.008 and MySql.

Please, fix this soon, my customer have big problem with this.

Have you looked at using an alternative file uploader?
More effort (initially), but potentially worthwhile.

thank’s very much for this script. But i not user scriptcase for take care with an uploader. If i need to do that, i can do my own html5/JS scripts. And there are great things out there. But i want a simple way to generate forms for modify data. That’s because i buy Scriptcase. I hope they fix this problem. In 2015 it should not be a great thing to upload file to a database!

However NM have taken this long and still not fixed those things (plus other things with the uploader) - hence why I ended up looking for an alternative.
If you don’t want to go to that trouble (which I understand), then you will potentially have a long time (given they haven’t done anything so far). So you can:
a) Continue waiting
b) Use a different uploader
c) Check the file names and modify them if needed to legally accepted ones, and then upload them.
I appreciate the ideal answer is for NM to fix it properly, but those are your only real choices in the interim unfortunately.
