Would it be possible either to make field watermarks grey (i.e. grey colour font) so that they are not confused with actual field content

The Quick Search box is correctly implemented with grey text and looks great!

or better still

Provide some css style characteristics in order to style watermarks?

Hello andy,

Go to Tools --> Layout --> Themes and from there you will be able to edit SC layout.

For information, to change the watermark font colour:

    [li]Create your own theme[/li] [li]Click "Advanced Mode"[/li] [li]Go to Form | Simple Record | Object | Watermark color[/li] [li]Go to Form | Multiple Record | Object | Watermark color[/li] [li]Click Save[/li] [li]In previously created applications, go to Layout | Settings and select your newly created Theme[/li] [li]Regenerate the app[/li]
