Maybe I’m completely missing something in SC8, but I can’t find the option “start by search” in a grid. In SC 6 this was under Application -> settings.

When I start the grid, first thing I want to see is the search screen.
Found it!
Grid Modules -> Initial module -> choose a value in the radio button.
