What is Scriptcase 9 new features ?

I am curious about new features in Scriptcase 9. Any info ?

I’m with you Owen. I saw mention of version 9 in one of Marcia’s emails but cannot find any other details about it.

Owen, apparently Scriptcase personnel are not at liberty to give any details at this time. Guess we will just have to wait and see.

My guesses based on what I’ve heard:

  • Better PDF reports (drag and drop instead of manual positioning).
  • Better calendar.
  • PHP7.

Hopefully some of the suggestions we have been making get included!!

Maybe a little, but not complete support. To make SC apps responsive, you need a complete rewrite on how SC manage app intertactions (right now using iframes). Don’t expect this in 2 versions at least.

SC must be rebuilt in a MVC model, without iframes and native BOOTSTRAP, and the ability to create custom forms in HMTL with the builder app.
