I’ve been attending technical forums for many years. I have always given and received help. But I have never had a forum, where there is only controversy about the product and you can not get a response to help a topic. I wonder what a forum like this is for?
What is this forum for?
I have received lots of help and advice from this forum.
If you do your due diligence and research and come up empty , then pose a kid, clear and concise question, you will get advice.
But if people come on here screaming and ranting and demanding someone show them how to do something… that ain’t going to work out so good.
Well, that is the sad part. SC is a bitter sweet product. Great ideas and potential, poor support and bugs. You must decided which is more important. Unfortunately there is not comparable product on the market today. There are some similar products in the development and once they are available (if quality is good) will kill SC easily. This might take however another year or two.
Personally I received lots of help on this forum from users and I’m very thankful for that. NETMAKE support on the forum practicaly does not exist. They only get involved when one complains to much

What products do you have your eye on Frogie?
I can make 3 addition to this post:
- If you pay for ticket support, Netmake will respond FAST. Not every time they can make an adequate answer, but it helps a lot.
- A lot of times, i made a question in the bugs section, with no netmake answer at all, but with a patch in the next release.
- Most of the Scriptcase experts around here are too busy trying to make scriptcase work as it should, than to read the forum!
My final toughs, Scriptcase is a very efficient way to develop, but you must discover and learn the quirks and circumnavigate the bugs, in order to make it work.
