“edit_lig” (pencil icon) - is available in onApplicationInit or onScriptInit. Macro sc_apl_conf.
I see very practical, onRecord deploy event for Editable Grid.

Example.
1) Do not edit (change) a register marked. (hide pencil)
2) Avoid a user X registry change. (hide pencil)
3) etc. …
