Wrap the column title

I have a grid with column names (example: Sales Year to date) much wider than the value in the columns.
I have tried line break and tried changing width of grid to compress it.

Anyone know how I can have the heading wrapped, so it displays something like

Sales
Year to date

put a html br < br> without the space
Sales < br> Year to date
