WTH Where my post gone? HTTPS Deployment ISSUE

Guys where my post gone? just because some nonce posted spam in it doesn’t mean u should delete my entire post man WTH!

So again my issues is as follows:

Https deployment not accepting the typical scriptcase password to login in backend to configure the database. is a new deployment on this domain, is working in the subdomain but want it it moved so newly installed on the https, yet once the files have all uploaded (4th time already) it doesnt allow me to login with the default password, in fact it just reloads the dam page again no error no messages nothing.
Folders “conf, files, tmp” are set to 777 as they should be.

new location is https://domain.com/folder/

Any helps please to get this working would be nice…

thanks

PS: DONT DELETE MY POST AGAIN, its SO NOT NICE, to have time wasted for nothing, now wait another few days till I have some reply and then another few more days till I have a solution, dam 2 weeks wasted instead of 1, really a joke right…
Is the worst thing u can do is delete peoples posts, think about it!

And http login works? That would be seriously odd then…
I assume you are deploying on linux so maybe you could check your apache and php logs. Errors are usually there, that should give you clues. If not then turn error logging for php on,
See this page for all the nice stuff you can turn on… The log should give more info on what is going wrong…

Hey rr, was a nice idea but after checking the logs there are no errors related. so at this point am back to square one…

JamieO, I sincere appologize, I’ve been working on the spam record and must have made an error. It for sure was not intended.

no worries, doesnt seem like I have a solution to this anyhow…

I was really hoping that I would have some kind of solution to this issue by now… Please somebody any ideas as to why I cant login to the blimmin backend with a newly deployed app and the default scriptcase password???

I don’t know whats wrong with your deployment but I doubt if it has anything to do with https. See https://www.nowdue.eu/prod
This site is using https…

Have uploaded a few times now and each time the same result. Will try a manual deployment and see if any change with that, otherwise am at a total loss. Would pay for support but considering that tickets don’t carry over its a total waste as last time I only used 1 ticket in the year so of course was all wasted and am not the business of paying for nothing.

not sure if I just had a bulb go off or what but could this be down to the PHP version used on the hosting server? would be weird as I mentioned it does work fine on a subdomain, yet I dont want to pay the extra fees for https sub domain wildcards, litte to expensive for my budget at present.

Well that should appear in yor logs I think… IN your traffic log.
My suggestion is to make a stupid simple php program with a simple echo and check that out under https: if that works then your https isnt broken.
If it doesnt then you really need to check with your provider or you need to check the settings on your hsoting account… some hosters charge extra for https…
