X axis fields not showing

Hi

I run a grid chart and want to display records by location e.g. New York, Sydney etc.
I set up a Group by function that specifies only Location field
The bar chart runs however there are x6 locations with 6 bars - good!
only 2 have the location displayed on the x-axis.
If i hover over the others, it tells me the location and record numbers

Why is it not showing the other locations on the x-axis

My ddid settings are all off except “Chart”

On previous attempts, this worked perfectly

Any ideas?

Update
Now i have added more locations to test. It appeared to work successfully for all but x1 location
Then I added another location, and one of the originals dropped off. Column still there though
