Differences in the Lookup and SQL Builder from the Tools at the top of Scriptcase

I wanted to know if there are any syntax differences in the LOOKUP SQL Builder and the one available from the Toolbar. If they are could we use the SQL Builder to create the SQL for the lookup field as opposed to what is already there?

This would be great because the SQL Builder is very good. The LOOKUP SQL builder in Applications seams more limited. Would it be a great idea to provide the same functionality in LOOKUP through the SQL Builder?

Just some thoughts.

I dont see why not.
I use an external sql query builder and copy paste directly into lookup without many problems.
One way to find out.
