Password field Validation

Hi Friends,

           In my form Password field - hidden.

           i created two dummy field Like Password and Confirm Password

          OnBefore Insert -

$pwd = {dummy_pwd1};
if (preg_match("#.^(?=.{8,20})(?=.[a-z])(?=.[A-Z])(?=.[0-9]).*$#", $pwd)){
sc_error_message(“Your password is good.”);
} else {
sc_error_message(“Your password is bad.”);
}

 It's not working.. Atleast 8 character , One Number, One Upper case, one lower case.

Please help me… very urgent … I am using scriptcase v5
