Scriptcase hangs after updating to 9.7.018 (cgi php freeze?)

  1. Client (Safari 15.4 & Firefox 100.0.2) freezes after initial login, at message “Verificación periódica de la base de datos de Scriptcase” (Periodic verification of Scriptcase database).

  2. Client shows error message:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at [EMAIL CENSORED] to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

  1. Server does not not respond to any requests afterwards, not even:
  • scriptcase/test.php
  • scriptcase/info.php
  • scriptcase/diagnosis.php
  1. List of active processes & apache/shutdown logs suggest php is locked

  1. Problem keeps happening even after reinstalling Server OS and Scriptcase (using pre-packaged Linux installer)

  2. Re-setting permits in wwwroot/. (755 for directories and 644 for files) has NOT helped

Scriptcase installation support has NOT been helpful :frowning_face:. This issue seems related to:

Scriptcase 9.7.019 shows blank login page

After downgrading OS to Ubuntu 18.04 and installing Scriptcase 9.7.019, the problem persists: system does not work at all. :rage:

Are you still experiencing this reported issue?

Apparently, it seems to be a problem with the environment and not with the tool itself.
