Width of a look up field

How do I change the width of the column on a drop down field.
This is the only field I have which shows only a few characters to select from.
When I select one of the items, it then displays well.

How do I see more characters on the drop down

Thank, I solved it, but dont know why it didnt work before.
When I has Use Select2 set to on, it gave me this.

I turned that setting off, and now it looks like this, correctly

Incidentally, it appears to be a select2 drop down, even though its not set that way
